Jumping the Rope: One Calorie, Two Calorie, Three Calorie……

"7 Golden Keys To Fat Loss"

Counting calories is like jumping rope with that famous puppet from Sesame Street who endlessly counts on everything.

How does it go, if you would translate this to a frightful sing-song, this would start you into a low-calorie diet wherein you would start counting the calorie intake per food.  Can you imagine having that handy calculator inside the grocery as you pick label after label and focusing on the number of calories per serving or per container?  Weight watchers (yes, my hand is raised!) did this at one point in their lives especially the ones who chose the theatre over the gym (look no further as I am admitting to this as well).

There are known dangers once you engage in those low-calorie diets that so-called fitness expert and their lean and provocative endorsers would pronounce.

Breaking the hoola-hoop cycle further, here is what would happen.  The fats contained in your body are stored energy just waiting to be used.  Should you supplement this with a low-calorie diet, your body’s metabolism begins to break therefore making you sluggish and lethargic in which at a cost, you may lose a muscle tissue that is important to convert that sedentary fat as they call it into energy.  In the process, this could even affect your mind and one of its outward effects is having memory gaps.

Keep in mind, while you have not yet indulged in this mayhem that such a drastic change would affect your metabolism and your state of mind.

Nothing beats exercising right and eating the right amount of food.  Stop counting the calories.  Calories in the food that we take and are essential to feed the body with the necessary nutrients for it to function well.  Eating the correct food will increase our metabolism which would be faster to burn and only then will the weight loss progress.

Build your muscle to lose your weight.

Do not be afraid to indulge yourself with red meat, and a lean turkey sandwich minus the extra cheese or three dollops of sour cream.  You don’t have to live in Greece to just use Extra Virgin Olive Oil.  Go for that fresh fish and I do mean fresh!  If you do not have any intolerance over eggs then go for whole eggs.

Go for those oats and never leave out of the cart your fresh apples as they are good antioxidants which aid in weight loss.

Drink lots of water to prevent dehydration.

It is better to lose pounds slowly than lose your health and sanity over the matter.
